Today 770 million people live without access to electricity, mostly in Africa and Asia. In Sub-Saharan Africa, the number of people without access increased in 2020 for the first time since 2013. Sub-Saharan Africa’s share of the global population without access to electricity rose to 77% from 74% before 2020.

Solar Eagle’s mission is to provide affordable and reliable electricity access to the nearly 600 million Africans continentally currently living off-grid. Our unique pay-as-you-go model allows low-income households to access our solar solutions and pay for electricity on an installment basis, making it more affordable and accessible for everyone.
